Before going into details talk about a review of
Zagg Screen Protectors i.e Sapphire Defense vs. Glass 360 vs. VisionGuard. Let’s first talk about Zagg Screen Protectors. Zagg Protectors Protect your phone and tablet with products that block harmful blue light and provide world-class impact and scratch protection. Zagg screen protectors have the following 3 characteristics.
1- Protection Designed for Extreme Environments:
Zagg InvisibleShield is setting the industry standard for screen protection. They started with military-grade components and have forged their own path developing new technologies, proprietary adhesives, and more. InvisibleShield is confidently leading the pack and allowing you to do the same.
2- Powerful Impact Protection:
Zagg’s InvisibleShield technology is designed to absorb and distribute the shock of an impact, keeping your screen intact and giving you the freedom to live fearlessly.
3- Scratch Protection for Your Everyday Environment:
InvisibleShield preserves your screen from scratches that can happen in everyday encounters, not to mention the rough and tumble environment of your bag. You can feel confident knowing your shield may take a beating, but your phone’s screen will remain as smooth and clean as the day you bought it.
Now come to the point. What’s the best Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector? Between the Invisible Shield, Sapphire Defense, Glass, Glass Visionguard, and Glass 360, we’d go with the Sapphire Defense. Why? Because it’s REALLY tough. The one product we’d stay away from? That’s the Visionguard. According to Zagg, it can help you sleep better at night! No kidding! The Zagg InvisibleShield Glass Visionguard claims that it can protect your eyes from High Energy Visible Blue Light. This blue light causes you to not be able to fall asleep at night. Do we think this claim is real? Maybe but honestly, how many of us stare at more than one screen on a daily basis? If you’re looking for Zagg’s only edge-to-edge screen protector, you’ll have to settle for the Glass 360.
Glass is Zagg's base model of glass and an expensive one at that. There's nothing really special about Glass. The Glass has a standard fit and it covers the viewable area of the iPhone. You're not even getting name-brand recognition since it’s just a piece of glass.
Zagg InvisibleShield Sapphire Defense Review:
Sapphire Defense is a screen protector infused with sapphire crystals. The sapphire crystal improves scratch resistance and also makes the screen protector incredibly tough. Sapphire Defense is one the toughest screen protectors. Sapphire Defense only covers the viewable area of the iPhone. This means the edges of the device are going to be left quite exposed. Remember to take this into consideration when you pick a case. The only gripe we have about the Sapphire Defense is the edges. Every other product we’ve reviewed from Zagg has smooth edges except for the Sapphire Defense. This screen protector is gonna offer seven times more shatter protection than unprotected screen Protection.
Zagg InvisibleShield VisionGuard Review:
InvisibleShield VisionGuard screen protection with Eyesafe technology not only protects your device from scratches and impacts but also filters harmful blue light from your screen. Vision guard is case friendly which means it's gonna work well with whatever case you decide to go. Glass VisionGuard has a special feature that protects your eyes from High Energy Visible Blue Light which is very bad for sleep and contributes to Digital Eye strain. Glass VisionGuard is an okay screen protector. Glass VisionGuard screen protector covers past the touchable area of the iPhone’s screen. This means it will protect your iPhone more. In fact, Glass VisionGuard is the most case-friendly of Zagg’s products.
Zagg Invisibleshield Glass 360 Review:
At first, we thought the Glass 360 was the same as the regular Glass but with a crappy bumper. We were wrong, it’s a different product with a crappy bumper. The Glass 360 is actually an edge-to-edge screen protector that seems to play well with cases from our Top 10 cases for the iPhone. Aside from that, it also has a back protector and a bumper going for it. The back protector is extremely slick and doesn’t even have the texture of the glossy glass back it covers. The bumper is thin and cheap and doesn’t feel like a quality product. When the three are combined, it is even worse. The screen protector is nice but nothing special. The back protector doesn’t add anything except for a little protection. And the bumper just makes your iPhone buttons tougher to use.
